At Foresight, we take great pride in our status as " the smallest big software company in the world" . As the owner of Foresight, I have the honor and privilegeof working with some of the finest and most hard-working staff one can find in the industry, as well as with a loyal customer base that constantly challenges us to make the best software products possible. I started with the Foresight organization in 1996 as a software developer. At that time, Foresight had just spun off as a separate entity from Marcam, and we have certainly gone through some changes since then. From Black Tuesday (when our then-owner, a private equity firm, cut staff by 70% in 2 hours), through the "educational" partnership with Datasul, through the truly exciting day in May of 2006 when I signed the papers acquiring Foresight, it has definitely been, as we used to say, an "E-ticket ride". Now, as we appear to be coming out of the economic downturn, I envision a truly bright future for the company and for our customers.
