Who is Dinges Moving and Storage
E.L. Dinges Moving & Storage was founded in 1905 by Ernest Leroy Dinges, who owned and operated the company until 1975. We were incorporated in 193 2. Ernest Dinges was a visionary who started with a single truck. After "E.L." retired in 1975, the business was then passed on to his sons, Max Dinges and Alvin Frank "Bud" Dinges. After Max's exit from the company, Bud continued the family tradition with the day to day operations and several years of superb dedication by his son Brian. After Brian exited the company in 2007, Bud "trucked on" until his sudden passing in 2009. Since his passing; the company is now run by Bud's wife, Susan, and son, Todd. We continue to be an independently owned and operated family-run business. Throughout the years of operation, E.L. Dinges Moving & Storage Co Inc. was once affiliated with well-known moving companies such as Clipper Van Lines, Red Ball, Wheaton Van Lines, and Mayflower. Dinges Moving & Storage continues to be the most recognized moving company in Blair County and we take pride knowing that. Our sterling reputation for excellence in the moving industry continues to this day to be what we strive to achieve with each and every experience. Under the authority of the Pennsylvania Utility Commission, we are licensed to operate in any region of Pennsylvania and under the authority of the Interstate Commerce Commission; we are licensed to operate in all 48 continental United States. We are a full-service moving company which offers services such as: Complete packing, climate-controlled self-storage units, climate-controlled permanent storage, residential moving, commercial moving and more. Bulky items we have and continue to move include boats, trailers, hot tubs, safes, pianos, grandfather clocks, automobiles, pool tables, and other bulky items. If you intend to pack your own household goods, we have a vast array of supplies available for purchase. We have an experienced and professional moving and packing staff waiting for your call.
