Countryside Studio is owned by the award-winning photographers, Marty & Betty Collins. They opened Countryside Studio in 1991 in what originally was the Holy Ghost convent. Marty and Betty specialize in fine portraiture, especially portraits of high school seniors, families and children. Their favorite models are their children, Kyle and Layne. In... July of 1999, Marty and Betty received their Master of Photography and their Photographic Craftsman degrees from the Professional Photographers of America Association. These prestigious degrees, which are the highest levels of photographic artistry and achievement, are awarded to photographers through education and print competition. A high standard of quality is needed to achieve these awards. Marty and Betty made Professional Photography history when they received their awards by being the first husband and wife to receive both awards at the same time. Through their photographic competitions, either Marty or Betty have been ranked in the Wisconsin Top 5 photographers each year since 1997. This excellence in portrait competition means you are assured of the absolute finest in portrait quality, artistry and creativity. Marty and Betty continue to study with some of the finest photographers in the country. By attending seminars they keep up with the latest looks and trends in photographing high school seniors, children and families. It is a definite advantage to have two Master Photographers working with you during your photography session. While one photographer is working with the pose, camera and lighting; the other is making sure your hair, clothing and expression is looking its best.
