Who is China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce

China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (CRECC) is a Class I national non-governmental organization, overseen by the All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce (ACFIC) and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. Its predecessor is ACFIC Real Estate Chamber of Commerce established in 2001. CRECC represents the common interests of China's real estate industry with its mission to promote sustainable growth of the real estate sector. It is dedicated to: defending the legal rights and interests of the industry and enterprises, responding to their common concerns; providing services integrating social resources, building up and maintaining an information exchange platform to serve member enterprises at such numerous levels as information, technology, business and international cooperation and elevating the core competiveness of enterprises; advocating for self-regulation, enhancing the social responsibilities of the industry and enterprise and creating a market for fair competition. At China International Real Estate & Architectural Technology Fair in Shenzhen In November, 2000, 33 noted housing industry enterprises initiated China Housing Industry Group Alliance (HIGA), released Shenzhen Declaration, proposed the development goal of housing industry collectivization and informationization and signed multilateral agreement for group purchasing. In March, 2001, member enterprises of HIGA initiated Housing Industry Chamber of Commerce and formally submitted the application to All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce for it. On October 30, 2001, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce Housing Industry Chamber of Commerce was formally approved by All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce. On December 12, 2001, China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce 1st General Meeting was convened in Chengdu, passed Articles of Association of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce Housing Industry Chamber of Commerce, and issued China Housing Industry Chengdu Agenda. In October, 2005, after the consultation of the members' opinion and the approval of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, it was renamed ACFIC Real Estate Chamber of Commerce. In November, 2006, CRECC 2nd General Meeting was convened in Xi'an, elected the 2nd leader group and issued Xi'an Initiative. On July 23, 2012, after the approval of three bureaus of the State Council, Ministry of Civil Affairs and All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce was reregistered with Ministry of Civil Affairs and renamed as China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (CRECC).
