Description:

Mission Statement: The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine is dedicated to the training of homeopaths according to the highest standard of homeopathic education, emphasizing the art and practice of homeopathy as outlined in Hahnemanns's Organon of the Medical Art. We aim to further the field of homeopathy as a whole through the provision of quality, primary homeopathic care. Whether you are looking to start a new career path with the study of homeopathy, to add homeopathy as a complementary modality to your existing practice, or to hone your skills with our post graduate program, we have the right course of study to help you achieve your goals. We are North America's longest running homeopathic college in the past 100 years and the only Canadian College fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA), the gold-standard used for US homeopathic colleges. Our 3-year in class Diploma in Homeopathy and Health Sciences is recognized and approved by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario which means that upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for registration as a professional Homeopath. Our in class program is a robust course which adheres to or exceeds the parameters for both the theoretical and clinical components as required by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario for registrants, and which emphasizes Health Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Physical Examination and Nutrition), clinical proficiency, and the study of pure Hahnemannian Homeopathy. This is the truest and most time-tested method of homeopathy, the study of which sets you up to achieve the kind of extraordinary results in practice that our famous old Masters had. Our faculty is led by superb homeopaths with decades of experience in both teaching and practice, as well as naturopaths, and medical doctors, who are all experts in their respective Health Sciences. The Diploma course in Homeopathy and Health Sciences boasts an innovative clinical training model that provides students with progressive instruction in the fine art of case-taking, prescribing and practice management. It consists of internship and externship components, wherein students shadow master homeopaths, as well as take their own cases with one-on-one supervision by a professional homeopath. CCHM is the only homeopathic training institution offering this kind of clinical training program. Second year begins with intensive case-taking workshops with Dr. Joseph Kellerstein, one of the top Homeopaths in the world. Throughout clinical training, you see consistent positive patient outcomes and receive coaching on the recognition of characteristic symptoms, the translation of patient language into homeopathic language, and case management. You actively follow patient cases through a series of appointments, allowing you to see the results and ongoing case management. The benefit of this kind of clinical training is one of the most important aspects to CCHM's program, it is what truly allows CCHM graduates to go out into the world, and be able to reproduce what they have learned, which is based on the sound scientific principles of pure homeopathy. This translates into being able to help people, and when you help people they come back and they send referrals - and this is how you establish a successful practice.
