Starting from "Burapha Osoth" drug store in 1957, with a vision to fulfill domestic demand for modern medicine in Thailand with local production, Burapha Dispensary Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Panya Buraphacheep, who is the first few businessmen that have been involved at the very beginning of pharmaceutical industry in Thailand. "Burapha Dispensa... ry" back then, a small section of the drug store in Nakornsawan province, was responsible for research and development of modern medicine formulation, and later succeeded in producing the first product for sale in 1963 with only 3 staffs in the production line. With a soaring growth of sales, the company expanded rapidly both in terms of production output and staffs. In April 1985, the production site was moved from Nakornsawan province to Nonthaburi province to increase the capacity, to comply with international standard of pharmaceutical factory, and to locate next to Bangkok for efficient logistics system. Mr. Panya's aspiration and determination was to increase an opportunity for Thai consumers to have more access to international standard pharmaceutical product, and to thrive for new standard or new achievement of the company that he established. From the legacies and inspirations of Mr. Panya, we proudly present one of Thai owned company which offers best quality pharmaceutical product to consumers. Our objective is strongly influenced by our heritage, which focus on offering the best quality product. Our trophies of standard have started from our first achievement on production site's Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standard, which is certified by Thai FDA according to World Health Organization (WHO) standard, since the first day of operation. Along the way of reaching new standard, we continuously improve efficiency of production and quality standard.
