Who is Australian Honeybee
Victor is a third generation beekeeper who left school in 1983 to work full time for the family beekeeping business. Victor got itchy feet around 1990 and left the family business, relocating to Canberra where he met his beautifull and intelligent wife (10 Brownie Points) and has lived and worked since. After a 20 year break from beekeeping, Victor returned to beekeeping in 2010 and established Australian Honeybee with his friend David. David on the other hand has been a commercial builder in the Canberra region all of his working life. David grew up on a farm in the Bungendore area and has always had a goal to return to the bush. David has been interested in, and has studied bees for many years with the idea that he would make the transition to being a full time beekeeper. After meeting Victor though his daughter's dance school and discovering Victor's beekeeping roots, David set to work. It was Christmas 2009 that David finally tricked Victor (over a bottle of fine Port) into agreeing to start a beekeeping operation and the rest is history.....Read more
