ANSM provides orientation for evaluators as well as travel costs and an honorarium to acknowledge evaluator expertise, time and contribution. Individuals with experience in different aspects of museum works are encouraged to offer their knowledge and time to this important new initiative. Application deadline is January 29, 2016. The program has grown out of the evaluation process formerly used for community museums participating in the Community Museums Assistance Program (CMAP). ANSM will administer and deliver the new evaluation program with funding support and endorsement from the Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage. In July 2016, the 67 community museums receiving funding through CMAP will be evaluated and scored. Assistance to support the museums as they prepare for evaluation will be provided by ANSM primarily through Museum Advisor Karin Kierstead. The new evaluation tools are available on the ANSM website and are available for download. $100 from 100 Campaign: We've reached our goal!
