Alternative Education Foundation (AEF) conducts research projects whose findings assist in generating education and support groups for social skill development,academic advancement, and sensory integration for children / adolescents who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and Non Verbal Learning Disorders. About AEF Alternative Education Foundation: AEF is a leading non-profit organization creating lasting changes in the lives of children in the United States and around the world. Many of these children have been diagnosed with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Asperger's, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Non Verbal Learning Disorder, etc. These children are average to above average intelligence and are physically normal in appearance. But their learning styles and social communications delineates their need for an alternative teaching program. AEF provides services specifically catering to average to above average intelligence children and adolescents who are not being successful (or not being as successful as they should be) in traditional public and private school environments. These children are currently being "left behind. We are defined by our commitment, accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
