Description:

Albion Partners (Albion) is an environmental consulting project support firm established on September 8, 2010. Our goal is to provide cost effective and attentive service to a number of different clients with a particular emphasis on providing high level project support, both field and office, at a very competitive rate. Albion Partners prides themselves on collecting quality legally defensible field data. Albion is a registered City and County of San Francisco Micro-Local Business Enterprise (LBE) No. HRC081616725 and a State of California Department of General Services Small Business Enterprise Supplier No. 1489640. Albion has a full understanding of most environmental projects. As the name implies, there are three partners: Jeffrey A. Austin, Charles Rome, and Elisabeth Austin, PhD; a summary of their capabilities are presented below. Jeff Austin has over 18 years in environmental consulting. He has worked both on the consulting and ownership side of the development business giving him a unique understanding of the goals and objectives of a property owner. He has managed a wide array of large and small scale redevelopment projects, participates in the regulatory negotiations, administers and manages stormwater managment plans, consults for property developers, and provides strategic consulting services to owners to minimize risk and liability and to facilitate smooth running transactions. Mr. Austin is also a seasoned veteran of all types of field related investigation methodologies as well as providing construction management services. Charles F. Rome has over 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting business. Mr. Rome applies his knowledge of geology, hydrogeology, health and safety, and environmental regulations to projects that involve the characterization and/or remediation of stormwater, groundwater, soil, and/or air affected or possibly affected by hazardous materials. He has been involved with the design and implementation of Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments. He has managed and is involved with the design and implementation of various remedial measures including pump and treat, enhanced bioremediation, chemical oxidation, monitored natural attenuation, soil fixation and excavation. Ms. Elisabeth Austin has been a small businesswoman in San Francisco for over ten years. Her experience running a small business will be leveraged by Albion to ensure that our internal structure and administrative procedures are streamlined and effective. She has already created the necessary systems to both win work and, equally importantly, manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable side of the business. All of our field personnel have Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response 29 CFR 1910.120 - 40 hour training, 8 hour OSHA Supervisor Training, and are current with the annual 8-hour refresher, Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) 30 CFR Part 46 - New Miners Training. Additional training certificates held by some field staff include Professional Geologist, Qualified SWPPP Developer, lead sampling technician, nuclear density gauge testing, State of Nevada Certified Environmental Manager, first aid/CPR, and Homeland Security background check for access on to Federal Properties.
