I am Deirdre Klein Ochipinti, UCF Finance graduate, Healthcare Administrator, Childrens Picture Book Author, Owner of Adopted Kids Are Super Publishing Company, LLC, and the most challenging, but most rewarding position of all adoptive Mom of two. My dream was born in 2008 with the birth of my son. My beautiful, adopted son. He made our family, he... answered all my prayers, he was a miracle, our SUPER baby. He was meant to be my son and I was meant to be his Mom. I knew then I had to make my son as well as all adopted children know how special they truly are at a very young age. A childrens book was my answer. A publishing company was my solution. After a trip to my local bookstore when Alec was 2, all I could find were a few adoption books located in the self-help section. This would not do for my young son. He needed a book with big, beautiful pictures to capture his attention. So with my Bachelor of Science in Finance-educated mind, I sat down to create my first childrens book. This was not as easy as I had imagined. I wrote and rewrote, I researched, I wrote again, I joined amazing writers critique groups, I met amazing people.
