Description:

Carol established Carol Fox and Associates, Inc. (CF&A) in 1994 to fill an important niche - to provide marketing and public relations services for Chicago-based arts and entertainment organizations. Under her leadership, the company has grown to become Chicago's largest marketing and public relations firm dedicated to promoting arts, entertainment and lifestyle clientele. In 2004, CF&A expanded and launched Group Tix, its group sales division and in 2010, began offering event management, social media, sponsorship and digital marketing services. CF&A's clients range from non-profit arts organizations, foundations and theatrical productions to large tourist attractions, annual art fairs and city-wide festivals. The range of clients include Blue Man Group, the Dalai Lama; EXPO CHICAGO, the international exposition of Contemporary and Modern Art; the Auditorium Theatre, Chicago Public Library's annual Gala; and the opening of MB Financial Park, Rosemont's entertainment district. Carol's passion for dance led her to spearhead the development of the non-profit website, SeeChicagoDance.com, a project of The Chicago Community Trust's Excellence in Dance Initiative and in partnership with foundations including Prince Charitable Trust and the Joyce Foundation, among others. SeeChicagoDance.com has become a vital marketing tool for dance in Chicago. In 2008, Carol, along with Niki Morrison, founded Audience Architects, a not-for-profit service organization to serve as the home of the website and to provide services for Chicago's growing dance community. Prior to CF&A, Carol earned widespread recognition for her work in marketing and public relations for several notable Chicago arts organizations, including Ravinia Festival, Performing Arts Chicago and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She is a graduate of Indiana University. Carol has also served on the boards of the Chicago Dance Coalition and Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. She is a frequent speaker on marketing the arts and has served on numerous panels for the Publicity Club of Chicago and Dance USA. And in case you are walking down Wacker Drive and happen to see the Honorary Carol Fox Drive, it was named after the legendary founder of the Lyric Opera, Carol Fox.
