Business Information Search Engine ZoomInfo Unveils PowerSearch 2007

With ZoomInfo PowerSearch 2007, marketers, salespeople, recruiters and other business professionals conducting research now have fast and easy access to comprehensive profiles on 34 million business people, three million companies and thousands of industries and market segments.

More than 1,500 customers currently benefit from the power of ZoomInfo's patented semantic search engine. The search engine continually crawls the Business Web – the millions of corporate Web sites, press releases, electronic news services, SEC filings and other online sources – then automatically aggregates and organizes the information into easy-to-digest and easy-to-search profiles.   • Company Search: Users can search for companies by industry, annual revenue, number of employees, geographic region, company ranking, and more. ZoomInfo company profiles include a summary of the company and its industry, annual revenue, key employees, top competitors, and contact information.
  • People Search: Customers can search for prospects or talent using more than 20 different search parameters, such as job title, credentials, geography, industry, diversity and education. Each profile includes the person's current title and company, along with employment history, education background, contact information and more – plus a complete list of the web references found by ZoomInfo and used to compile the profile.
  • Workflow Management: PowerSearch 2007 features a search form that allows users to instantly refine or start a new search at any point in the process; a "Quick List" tool that allows users to quickly narrow the search before drilling down for more details on people and companies; the option of including a comment on any person or company that can be seen by users in the organization; and the ability to save people, companies and searches in a "Projects Folder" to share them with colleagues.
  • Export Capabilities: At any point in the search process, users have the ability to export their results, including complete contact information, into an Excel spreadsheet. This enables ZoomInfo customers to incorporate PowerSearch into their existing customer relationship management applications.
