BJ has over 20 years of international design, engineering project management, specifications, and procurement experience in semiconductor tools facilitation, HVAC/Clean room environments, semiconductor tool hook ups, oil, gas and power plants, and institutional facilities engineering and management.Currently he is working as Project Coordinator/Facility Engineer in the housing department at Stanford University.BJ has served on the board in the past as its VP of Collegiate Relations and has a passion for technical issues.

BJ Patel, VP Elect - Collegiate Relations(bjpatel@msn.com)BJ has over 15 years of international, well-diversified design, engineering/project management, specifications, and procurement experience in semiconductor tools facilitation, HVAC/Clean room environments, semiconductor tool hook ups, oil, gas and power plants piping systems and transportation pipelines.Currently, BJ works as a Project Manager at Stanford University where he is developing technical specifications and reviewing submittals for new buildings and major renovations.He is also the technical representative for the university housing development.Previously, BJ worked at Black & Veatch as a Project Manager at Applied Materials.In this position he was responsible for client and user contact; development of design & construction scopes; estimate cost of work and cost of engineering & design; preparing & maintaining schedules; coordinate engineering, design & field work; subcontracting; management of cost control & monthly schedule of values; project sign off & close out; assessment and rationale for percentage of work complete, value and status of changes, cost to complete, and time to complete.BJ has a BSME degree and a PE License.
