Mike Minakami - Chief Scientist

Mr. Minakami leads TGC's US R&D team, a highly talented group of software engineers and UI designers responsible for architecting and developing the DVR software, Service, and related technologies for deployment in the Greater China markets.Mike brings a strong engineering management and DVR technology background from TiVo, where he led platform software development for many of TiVo's Series2 standalone, DIRECTV, and DVD Recorder products.He also championed TiVo's high-definition television (HDTV) engineering efforts.Prior to joining TiVo, Mike held various engineering positions at Silicon Graphics, On Command Video, and IBM.Mike holds a BAS degree in Psychology and Computer Science from Stanford University.
