David lectures and has written articles on real estate development, construction litigation, and mechanic's liens, including authoring "Amending Your Association's Project Documents," ECHO, Vol.20, #2, February, 1992; "A Primer: Mechanic's Liens, Stop Notices and Payment Bonds," 18 CEB Real Property Law Reporter 173, May, 1995, "Construction Defect Litigation: The Playing Field Has Changed A Navigational Guide to Senate Bill 800" CEB Real Property Law Reporter 106, May 2003, and consulted on the publication "Advising California Common Interest Communities" CEB, 2003.David has been the past co-chair of the Palo Alto Area Bar Association Community Relations Committee, and has also served as chair of the Association's delegation to the California State Bar Conference of Delegates.He graduated with departmental honors from Stanford University in 1984, and obtained his law degree from Hastings College of the Law in 1988.
