Prof. Dr. h. c. Helmut List, Chairman and CEO of AVL India Software, has more than 35 years of experience.He is Chairman and CEO of AVL List GmbH, Austria, a company founded by his father in 1948, a world leader in powertrain systems, instrumentation and test systems.He is currently on the board of Director of Austrian Companies VOEST Alpine Technologies (VA Tech) and AMS (Austria Mikro Systeme International AG).He also heads the Research and Technology Committee of Federation of Austrian Industrialists since 1992.He was member of IRDAC (Industrial Research and Development Advisory Committee) of European commission in Brussels in 1994 and served as IRDAC's Chairman from 1997 to 1998.He was Chairman of the Fifth Asia-Europe Business Forum.He is holding honorary positions at major universities and Engineering societies.He received his Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Graz Technical University ,Austria.
