Anya received her formal photographic education at Yale University under the guidance of Tod Papageorge and Gregory Crewdson.She has traveled the world working for many publications including: The New York Times Magazine, USA Today and Billboard.Her work has been shown in New York City's Abrons Art Center and is currently part of a national tour entitled "Voices From Home".Ms. Liftig's work has been centered in her semi-native East Kentucky for the past three years.Work from this project was recently published in Green Mountain Review and Public Culture Magazine.
