    Frederic received his Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Columbia University Film School.

    He spent nine years in New York writing, directing, and producing independent film and video projects before moving on to develop an original project with Orion Pictures/Pacific Films.

    Frederic currently writes, develops and produces feature films and video projects. He is Program Director of the Colorado Film School and the founding Director of the Avid and Maya Center.

Frederic Lahey (current CFS Director) worked under Linda Bowman (current CCA President) to develop a professional training program that included an Avid Certified training center and feature film production that aired on Showtime, Showtime Extreme and The Movie Channel.
