Brandt joined Fulbright & Jaworski's Austin office in July 2000.As counsel , his practice focuses on technology and emerging company matters.Mr. Brandt has substantial experience in procurement law ; unfair competition ; antitrust law ; intellectual property law matters including copyright , trademark and trade secret ; corporate law ; franchise agreements ; partnership agreements ; and choice of legal entity.

    Prior to joining the firm , Mr. Brandt served as General Counsel for the Texas Department of Information Resources , where he advised board members , executive director , managers and staff on all legal issues affecting the agency , with particular emphasis on electronic commerce , large-scale technology procurements , and strategic technology initiatives in state government.
