Alan Zucker went from casual earth-lover to full-fledged activist when, following an ideal day swimming in the ocean, he and his friends got sick from pollutants in the water.He now enjoys spending his days in service to the community through projects such as www.iwantcleanair.com.He practices engaged Buddhism and works to see the expression of his Yoga values through non-violent change in the world.

Alan Zucker is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the UtilityGuide web site and UtilityGuide's internal computer networks.Mr. Zucker also is responsible for management of the company's finances and development of the company's marketing strategies.

Prior to co-founding UtilityGuide, Mr. Zucker owned Skyline Productions, an independent Web design and marketing firm.Previously, Mr. Zucker was the Program Manager for a national sales and marketing department at Greenpeace USA and Vice President of Danbar Press, an independent printing business.Mr. Zucker holds a bachelors degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Earlier in his career, Zucker worked on the development and implementation of communications and media strategies for Greenpeace.He has a Social Science degree in Media from the University of California, Berkeley.
