    Ed Zittel has extensive experience as a consultant with privately held businesses. During the major portion of his career, he was a practicing CPA for Knight, Vale & Gregory, a large regional CPA firm. In that capacity, he practiced as a tax partner and general business consultant. He was heavily involved in the management of the firm and managed an office of 100 people. As a part of his practice, he was involved in acquiring and selling businesses and worked with investment bankers on a number of transactions. In addition, Mr. Zittel was a key member of the management group that strategically grew the CPA firm both organically and through acquisition. The firm was subsequently sold to RSM McCladrey, a national accounting firm.

    Mr. Zittel retired from the CPA business in 2005 and joined Alexander Hutton.
