Jerry, the founding chairman of JND Properties and former CEO of GrayDrug Stores, Inc., has served as Chairman of The National Association of Chain Drug Stores, Chairman of Cleveland's United Way and on numerous corporate and philanthropic boards.A guiding force behind the development of Hebrew University's School of Pharmacy, Jerry is an Honorary Fellow of The Hebrew University and a recipient of AFHU's Torch of Learning Award.

Joy, together with Jerry, has inspired in their three children a family tradition of communal involvement.
