Seraphim Guard's Vice President, Charles Phipps, today informed Jeremy Zimmerman that the manuscript for Spell-Slingers and Sword-Saints has been sent to the printers.

SS&SS is the fantasy anime roleplaying game Jeremy wrote for Seraphim Guard, designed to be compatible with Seraphim Guard's flagship game, Heartquest.It is unknown when the book will be available for purchase, but updates regarding the status of the book will be posted as information becomes available.May 7, 2004: DefCon One LiveJournal has been created To create a less formal forum for discussing his experiences working in the game industry, Jeremy "Bolthy" Zimmerman has set up a LiveJournal account for DefCon One Publishing.This will feature comments on his work for other companies, as well as musings on the difficulties of trying to self-publish roleplaying games.

March 26, 2004: Progress continues on Children of the Comet; Jeremy takes on role of Webmaster for Eos Press Ground has been broken on the first draft of the manuscript for Children of the Comet, with Jeremy slogging through the Introduction.Most notable work includes the obligatory "what is a roleplaying game?"section.
Additionally, owner Jeremy Zimmerman has been officially taken over the role of Webmaster for fellow game publishers at Eos Press.DefCon One encourages buyers to support Eos Press by purchasing their fine line of products.Eos's increased success will result in more work for Jeremy.More work for Jeremy means more money to put towards DefCon One.
When asked how he felt about writing news briefs while referring to himself in the third person, Jeremy refused to comment.March 20, 2004: Jeremy sends off article to Pyramid Magazine and starts work on Children of the Comet In hopes of generating some increased cash flow, owner Jeremy Zimmerman has sent in the first of many articles to Pyramid Magazine.In addition, he has begun work on DefCon One's first scheduled product: Children of the Comet.As work progresses on this project, be sure to check back regularly for updates.March 3, 2004: Jeremy Zimmerman finishes manuscript for Spell-Slingers and Sword Saints As of March 1, DefCon One Publishing's sole employee, Jeremy Zimmerman, handed over the first draft of his manuscript for Spell-Slingers and Sword-Saints to the people at Seraphim Guard.The manuscript will go through a quick period of playtest and review before being prepared for publication.With this large hurdle out of the way, Jeremy is now free to begin work on projects for DefCon One.The first project on the horizon is the tentatively titled Children of the Comet, which Jeremy hopes to have available by this Fall.Additionally, Jeremy has begun work on writing articles for online gaming publication, Pyramid Magazine.February 18, 2004: DefConOne.com goes live.
