Jeramy Zimmerman has an egalitarian ideology. Participation is selected on their willingness, and on a first come first serve basis. She uses an aesthetic not unlike Merce Cunningham and John Cage with chance operations and the I-ching. Instead of her aesthetic influencing the "macro-choreography", her selection is based on the "chance" of the choreographer wanting to participate. She then hands out each musical selection to the choreographer, much like a dance "assignment". The individual choreographer investigates the space, creates their choreography and dance team, and rehearses their work. In the final rehearsals before the show Jeramy places the dances in order, and tightens the choreography to create a cohesive performance.

60x60 Dance will be performing in Munich at the A*Devantgarde festival, and Jeramy Zimmerman will be making a homecoming performance in Kansas City at the Electronic Music Midwest festival.

In 2008 and 2009, 60x60 is collaborating with the choreographer Jeramy Zimmerman who assembles 60 different choreographers to create dances for each of the 60 audio works present in 60x60.

Jeramy Zimmerman is a co-founder and director of CatScratch Theatre.

Music selections have been culled from an international pool of emerging and established composers, and then assigned to an equally varied mix of choreographers assembled by Jeramy Zimmerman. During the event, the compositions will be played in succession over loud speakers. A large analog clock keeps track of time, with each minute marking the end of one dance and the beginning of another.

Jeramy Zimmerman is a co-founder and the director of CatScratch Theatre. Her work for CatScratch Theatre has been performed on stages and in non-traditional places such as the Staten Island Ferry, In front of the New York City Stock Exchange, the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage and Chateau Cazals in southeastern France.

"The project began as an electroacoustic "tape" concert featuring 1-minute works by 60 composers in one hour. Since then, they have promoted the work of more than 1000 composers in 60X60 concerts all over the world. The project's director Robert Voisey and choreographer Jeramy Zimmerman are expanding the concept to include dance in the mix: 60 choreographers are presenting 60-second works in 60-second pieces by 60 composers.

Jeramy Zimmerman is a program manager at the Lineage Project, a New York City-based organization that brings awareness-based practices, such as yoga and meditation, to at-risk and incarcerated youth. Zimmerman is certified as a yoga teacher through OM Yoga Center in New York City. She has worked with at-risk youth as a dancer and choreographer since 1993.
