Debuting at age 9 as a member of the Lollipop Guild in a production of "The Wizard of Oz," Zeiler has graduated to leading roles in local companies.He has played Harold Hill in "The Music Man Jr. "with Theater For Youth, Riff in "West Side Story," and Snoopy in "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," both with Hillsdale Community Theater.

Zeiler admits that he doesn't get nervous onstage, either.

"The hardest part of shows now is helping to keep younger kids under control," he said.

All of the performers hope to see their friends and family "clap their hands and believe" in the audience."You're going to have a pretty good show for your money," said Zeiler.

Not surprisingly, Zeiler and Victoria Hood are planning careers in performance.

Victoria Hood hopes to sing on Broadway, and Zeiler is considering a theater major in college.

One volunteer, Aaron Zeiler, 17, said he's not a member of the parish any longer, but he would not pass up the opportunity to serve the Christmas Eve feast.

"A lot of Hillsdale is having a rough time right now and they need a place with a good meal," Zeiler said.
