Zeige has been a substitute teacher for approximately 14 years and currently works for five local school districts in that role.She was employed for three years by Independent School District 318 as a teacher at the Middle Area Learning Center.When that job ended due to budget cuts, Zeige went back to substitute teaching, following a three-year stint as a grant writer for ElderCircle.As a pastor's wife, Ziege explained that she finds herself involved in various roles at her husband's church, Our Redeemer Lutheran in Cohasset.She said teaching, being involved in Bible studies, women's groups, music ministry-vocally and playing organ, and serving as church librarian bring fulfillment to her life.Ziege also has taken a leadership role on the regional level for the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.In addition, Ziege is vice-president of the Board of Directors for KOOTASCA Community Action and said she seeks to use her knowledge in that role to help those in need.
