W. DON ZEHNDER, CPADon became a partner in Laine Appold & Co. upon its inception in 1966 and established the Frankenmuth office in 1975.A graduate of Michigan State University, Don's primary responsibilities have involved the accounting, planning and taxation of small businesses and individual taxes.Don has served the Frankenmuth community in various capacities including past president of the Lion's Club, board member of the Chamber of Commerce, and treasurer and board member of the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.Don has also been involved in leadership roles in the Michigan Association of CPAs and is a member of the AICPA.

As a result of the merger, Laine Appold's directors (Dennis Serafini, Walt Moore, Dave Mikolajczak, Ed McKibbon, Don Zehnder, and Drew Zehnder) became partners in the firm.
