From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Zehir held the position of General Manager, Marketing for Fording Inc.Mr. Zehir was with Fording's marketing department since 1997.He has more than 25 years of varied industry experience in mining and project engineering, operations and coal marketing.Mr. Zehir has held consulting, project and design engineering and senior management positions on several mining, earthmoving and construction projects throughout western and northern Canada.

Mr. Zehir is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta.

Mr. Zehir holds a bachelor of science degree in mining engineering from the Middle East Technical University.
