Lawrence Zaslow is a Vice President of Amphion Capital Partners.His expertise is in the funding of healthcare and biotechnology start-ups.
Prior to joining Amphion Capital Partners in 2003, Mr. Zaslow was a private consultant to several companies including Nobex Corporation, Anthrogenesis Corp., and Isotope Solutions, Inc.Before this Mr. Zaslow headed the corporate finance department for Adolph Komorsky Investments, Ltd., a boutique brokerage firm, where he was responsible for originating and executing investment banking services to client companies, which included Celsion Corporation, Elite Pharmaceuticals, and Hemispherx Biopharma.
Prior to AKI, Mr. Zaslow was a Vice President of Sunrise Securities where he was responsible primarily for securing the funding of many biotechnology/healthcare private placements and follow-on offerings, as well as originating proprietary product.Such companies included Interferon Sciences, Nomos, Dusa, and Matritech.Before this Mr. Zaslow was a Vice President of D. Blech & Co., where he was involved with the private and/or public funding of many biotechnology companies including Texas Biotechnology Corp. (a company in which he was a co-founder), Ariad Pharmaceuticals, Cell Therapeutics, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Neurocrine Biosciences, and Incyte Genomics.Prior to joining D. Blech & Co., Mr. Zaslow was a Vice President and registered representative at a number of firms where his focus was on biotechnology, and it was during this period that he was instrumental in the private and/or public funding of several firms including ICOS, Texas Biotechnology Corp., Organogenesis, and Celgene.
Mr. Zaslow received an MBA in finance from the Columbia University Graduate Business School and entered the Merrill Lynch MBA training program from which he emerged as a trader of commercial paper.He received a BA in economics from Brandeis University.
