Dan Yu - ???, ChinaDan Yu joined OCO Consulting in 2007 to run the China operations.
In the two years prior to joining OCO Consulting, Dan was a senior consultant at Weber Shandwick, leading its Shanghai Public Affairs team in the areas of corporate positioning, senior executive positioning, public affairs, and strategic communications.As Weber Shandwick's Asia Pacific Leadership Award Winner, Dan served key clients on various projects.Key clients include Bureau of Shanghai World Expo, Shanghai Information Office, Zhejiang Information office, Cerberus Capital Management, General Motors, Coca-cola, Carlson Asia Pacific, Lincoln Electric, Credit Suisse, Goodyear, etc.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Dan worked in Provincial Government of British Columbia ( Canada) for 3 years as Policy Advisor focusing on strategic planning, business development, government relations, and public affairs.
In 2005, Dan co-led an independent project: Interview with World Famous University Presidents, and interviewed 10 presidents from world famous universities including University of Cambridge, University of Chicago, University of Illinois at UC, University of British Columbia, etc.
Dan holds an MPA degree from University of Victoria and an MA degree in History from University of Ottawa.
