Ms. Corinna Yu

Hong Kong, July 25, 2005 - Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP (Paul, Weiss) is pleased to announce that Ms. Corinna Yu has been elected to Counsel.Ms. Yu is currently based in the firm's Beijing office and is Counsel in the Corporate Department of Paul, Weiss.She is a member of the firm's Communications and Technology Group, and has the responsibility for overseeing the operations of the Beijing office.

Ms. Yu's practice is focused on the telecommunications and media sector.She is involved in both regional and China-based corporate transactions for the telecoms and IT sectors.She also has experience in providing commercial and regulatory advice on telecommunications, media, broadcasting, information technology and Internet-related issues.She has previous experience of acting as lead in-house counsel on public policy, regulatory and interconnect matters on behalf of a major carrier in Malaysia and also on behalf of a South African based satellite TV operator and a start-up pay TV operator in Hong Kong.

Ms. Yu is a graduate of the University of Cambridge in the U.K. where she read both Biochemistry and Law.She completed her legal training with a City firm in London and has practiced in Hong Kong since 1995.She is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Hong Kong.Ms. Yu is fluent in English, Cantonese and written Chinese and also speaks Mandarin.
