Dr. Anatoly Yu.Smirnov, Research Scientist

Anatoly is Research Scientist in the Theory Group at D-Wave.He obtained his Ph.D. in theoretical physics specializing in quantum statistical physics and condensed matter theory from the University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.Prior to D-Wave, Anatoly was an associate professor of quantum radiophysics at the Radiophysics Department of the University of Nizhny Novgorod and associate visiting professor at the Department of physics and engineering physics at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.Anatoly is a member of the American Physics Society, has published 46 papers and is co-inventor on two US patents.
