Debbie received her CA in 2002 and is currently a Financial Analyst with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
Debbie joined the Board of Osborne House in 2006 and has helped them to go from operating at a deficit of over $60,000 to recording a surplus this past fiscal year.
As a member of the Christian rock band "One In Spirit", Debbie helps organize and ex¬ecute various charity concerts.
Two notable events include "Rock Till We Drop", a 24-hour, one band concert that raised close to $12,000 for Siloam Mission, and "Turn On the Tap" for Samaritan's Purse, that raised sufficient funds for 20 bio-sand water filters, which will provide safe water to communities in developing countries.
Debbie also regularly volunteers at Lower Fort Garry where she organizes a Discovery Game - a scavenger hunt for children to promote questions about the Fort's history.
Debbie has also participated in the Fort's Candlelit Ghost Tours at Hallowe'en.
