Debbie is the owner and Managing Director of Aurenda.Her credentials in worker injury risk management are impressive, with over ten years' experience in rehabilitation, injury management and workers' compensation.Her professional background as a physiotherapist gives her a bio-medical perspective on injury risk management issues and how they impact on business.Debbie has held previous senior positions with a rehabilitation provider, a major workers' compensation insurance broker and a State government organisation, so she has the ability to approach issues from all viewpoints.
Before establishing Aurenda in 2002, Debbie was a co-founder and partner of MYR Consulting Pty Ltd, founded in September 2000 to provide a portfolio of risk management services.Prior to the formation of MYR, Debbie was the Director of Worksite Services, a division of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Pty Ltd, the world's third largest insurance broker.Debbie previously had eight years' experience running her own private physiotherapy practice.
Debbie provides expertise across a range of worker injury risk management services including claims analysis, risk assessments, injury management surveys, alternative risk financing, training, workshop facilitation, site surveys, post-injury control reviews and old/active claims management.
