  Nancy Young, 80, of Atkins, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Morrilton.
  
  She was born April 23, 1926, in Atkins.She was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church, and was a former employee of Howard's and Lefler's in Russellville.

  Nancy Young came to Grace Bible Church , deep in Kalihi Valley , in March 1970 , when her daughters Rona and Julie were three and Trina 3-months old.Her first ministry was teaching the four year-old Sunday School preschool class.The next year she became the Sunday School preschool department head and directed her first Children's Camp.
  
  In September 1978 , Nancy left her full-time position at the University of Hawai`i to become the principal of Grace Bible Christian School , where she ministered until 1984.Between 1984 and 1990 , Nancy worked as administrator in the church , overseeing Children's Ministry , Women's Ministry , and Publications.She was also elected to the State Board of Education , 1980-1984.
  
  In 1990 , Nancy was called to be a full-time associate pastor over the East District of Honolulu.Since the 70's , Nancy had either hosted or led Life Groups in her home.Her pastoral leadership in the 90's touched lives in Life Groups , visitation ministry , aloha ministry , healing service , Senior Servants , singles , Overcomers Victorious , Experiencing God , Cleansing Stram , counseling , foodbank , book center and the lastest , prison ministry.
  
  During Seek Week in January of this year , Nancy heard from God to 'Go' , just as Abraham was challenged to leave his country and family in Genesis 12.
