  Mr Allan Young, BA, Dip Ed, Dip Lib, MURP: is the Chair of the Community Consultative Committee and was also appointed to the Trust in December 2005.Allan is a Policy Manager at NSW Maritime with previous policy and parliamentary support roles at the Department of Environment and Conservation and with the NSW Parliament.He is also a member of the National Parks and Wildlife Service Sydney Regional Advisory Committee.Allan and his young family are frequent visitors of Centennial Parklands for social and recreational occasions.
  
  Ms Ann Mairaed Bilmon B Sc Arch B A (Hons) A Mus A: was appointed to the Community Consultative Committee in April 2006.She has lived all her life within a short drive of the Parklands and has used practically every facility, park, sporting venue etc with her family for over 50 years.Currently she is a regular walker with her dog and a social user of various Parklands facilities.She is a PhD student in Musicology at the Conservatorium of Sydney and has a background in community work at local government level and in the performing arts.She is looking forward to meeting other CCC members and working with them and the community to maintain and sustain this special Sydney area.

  Allan Young has been elected chairman of the Mackay Port Authority's Sports Field Relocation Consultative Committee.
  
  Mr Young - executive officer of the Mackay Whitsunday Regional Economic Development Corporation - was elected to chair the group at the inaugural meeting of the committee held at Mackay Airport yesterday.
