KVH Telecom (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Rakesh Bhasin), a provider of comprehensive broadband services to corporate customers in metropolitan areas, has announced that Atsushi Yokokawa, Vice President, Sales Division has been appointed as General Manager of KVH's Osaka Branch Office effective March 1st.
Mr. Yokokawa has substantial experience in the telecommunications industry and joined KVH as Managing Director responsible for overall sales activities in February 2000.As the head of the KVH sales force, he has led the expansion and strengthening of KVH's customer base over the past two years.
In Osaka, KVH Telecom is offering facilities-based broadband services to corporate customers in business areas in the Chuo-ku, Kita-ku, Fukushima-ku and Nanko areas.

Under Mr. Yokokawa's leadership, KVH Telecom's Osaka branch aims to further expand its presence to meet increasing demands for broadband services in the Kansai area.
Prior to joining KVH Telecom, Mr. Yokokawa served as General Manager of corporate sales for KDD (now KDDI).Mr. Yokokawa was appointed as Vice President of KVH Telecom in September 2000.He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in engineering.
