Yogarasa Yogananthy

Yogarasa Yogananthy, a student of the Methodist Girls High School in Point Pedro, Jaffna was knocked down by a LTTE motorbike rider.

She is a 16 year old girl reading in Grade 10, from Puloly, Jaffna.She is also a very good netball player.She had gone to the Aravinth Studio at Oramkatatdy in Puloly and was returning home when she was knocked down by a LTTE member Thirumurugan who was riding the motorbike.This LTTE cadre was not even human enough to stop and take the injured girl to hospital.He had driven off from the scene.The youngsters who were at the scene had taken the girl to the Manthikai Hospital.Later she was taken to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
