  Robert Yoder, his Nadine and their 3-year-old son, Jacob, enjoy living in Newport.Yoder is active in Kentucky's Preservation Community.He has served on the Newport Historic Preservation commission, is a former Chair of Newport's East Row Historic Foundation and currently serves as chair of Preservation Kentucky, a statewide preservation organization.
  
  "Newport in Vintage Postcards" is Yoder's first book, though he has written several articles for trade publications, and has served as the editor for the East Row Historic Foundation's monthly newsletter for five years.
  
  "This book is my gift to the people of Newport," he said.
