West Coast Sailing was started by George Yioulos June, 2005, the day after graduating from the University of Oregon.
George sailed in high school in California.He earned his varsity letter on the sailing team.
At college, George competed for four years as a varsity skipper, coordinating the Oregon team for three full years.
Twice named to the All-Northwest Sailing Team; George's senior year, he was selected on the national level for the Jim Rousmaniere Student Leadership Award.
George joined three college sailors that year elected into the College Sailing Hall of Fame.
