Mr. Eduardo Yap, Jr. is currently JG Summit's Corporate Procurement Officer.He has been with the company for more than 25 years and has broad experience and expertise in production, operations and sales in various capacities until his appointment as Vice President for Logistics and Materials of Universal Robina Corporation, one of the biggest companies controlled by JG Summit, and the nation's leading consumer food company and one of the major players in the region.

Mr. Yap is a licensed Chemical Engineer and is a Masters in Business Management graduate of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

Eddie Yap, vice president for logistics and materials management of Universal Robina Corporation, representing JG Summit, joins this year's board as vice chairman while ePLDT's chief finance officer George Tan will serve as Board treasurer.

Universal Robina Corporation (URC) vice president for logistics and materials management Eduardo Yap was appointed treasurer.Yap is concurrently corporate procurement officer of the JG Summit Group of Companies and purchasing manager of URC.Yap has been with the JG Summit group for over 25 years and has extensive experience in production operations and sales.He is a chemical engineer and Master's Degree holder in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.

Mr. Yap, 54, Filipino, is currently Vice President for logistics and materials management at Universal Robina Corporation ("URC"). He is concurrently corporate procurement officer of the JG Summit Group of Companies and purchasing manager of URC. He has been with the JG Summit group for over 25 years and has extensive experience in production operations and sales.

He is also a chemical engineer and Master's Degree holder in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
