Cristina Yap arrived in San Francisco on 29 August 2006 to assume her position as Collecting Officer.She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Economics at the Philippine School of Business Administration.

Ms. Yap joined the Department of Foreign Affairs in 1980.She was previously assigned at the Philippine Consulate General in Hawaii as Finance Officer then at Philippine Consulate General in Saipan also as Finance Officer.Prior to her present assignment, she was stationed at the Department of Foreign Affairs
