Mr. Yao has a LL.B degree from East China University of Political Science and Law in 1992; and has obtained a LL.M degree from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley in 1996.Before joined Jun He, Mr. Yao has worked with Dorsey & Whitney LLP's Shanghai Office and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; United Technologies (legal department) and GE Advanced Material Group (legal department).Mr. Yao's practice involves a wide range of merger and acquisition related matters, including cross-border M&A transactions, spin-offs, reconstruction and joint ventures.His China experience covers a wide array of industries, including automobile, banking, container terminals, food and beverage, insurance, machinery manufacturing and real estate.
