Dr. Tianning Tony Xu

Dr. Tianning "Tony" Xu -- Computer Software Development and Communications

Dr. Xu is responsible for all phases of the computer development for neural network analysis of the various databases vital to the corporate and clinical operations.

Prior to emigrating to the United States, Dr. Xu was named as one of the Top Ten Young Scientists in China.He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, he received both his master and doctor of philosophy degree from Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics.Dr. Xu was invited to the United States as a Visiting Scholar by Carnegie Melon University.

Dr. Xu has been instrumental in the development of several unique computer processing and analytic systems.In 1993 he developed a "wavelet transform processor" used to identify potential cancers.It is believed that his new processor has the ability to discriminate women into high and low risk categories whose only evidence of breast problems are benign lesions, it appears that the processor can distinguish predispositions for the development of cancer.He has recently been granted a patent for a face recognition system to be used as a security device.Dr. Xu was a Senior Research Scientist for Zybron, Corp. where he developed a high speed multi-channel optical reader and neural network processor for the Department of Defense.Dr. Xu is the author of many professional papers and the recipient of several technical awards for his outstanding work.
