    A search of Antonio 5-5s vehicle, by the ISF, unearthed one handmade pistol, five rounds of ammunition, two knives, three slingshots, eight darts and over US$5600 in cash bundles labelled with names and addresses of Villagers from the Suco area.

    Atoy Dasy was the brother-in-law of Antonio Ximenes, a member of the East Timor National Parliament.Ximenes told AKI he regretted the accident and called for an investigation.

    "I do regret this incident because Australian soldiers killed civilians.The Australian soldiers should face our people with love and not with a repressive approach," Ximenes said."The parliament should establish an investigation team to look into this incident," he added.

    The paper reported that the President of the Christian Democratic Party, Antonio Ximenes, had said that the Government must look after former FALINTIL members because they have contributed to the nation.Ximenes praised the "good intentions" of the Minister of Internal Administration in calling for the recruitment of more former FALINTIL fighters into the ETPS or ETDF.He said his party fully supports the move and would like to see it realized soon.
