CACI Appoints Jeff Wright Vice President and Manager of Telecommunications
Arlington, Va., March 31, 1997 - CACI International Inc (Nasdaq:CACI) announced today that it has appointed Jeff Wright to be Vice President and Manager of the company's newly formed Telecommunications Division.The new Telecommunications group is responsible for leading CACI initiatives in wireless telecommunications projects.
Wright returns to CACI from VGS, Inc, where since August 1996 he has been the Program Manager for the VGS-CACI team supporting telecommunications initiatives.Prior to joining VGS, Wright directed a number of CACI telecommunications projects within other CACI divisions.
Before entering the commercial field, Wright had a distinguished career as a U.S. Army officer.He was the systems manager for the Army segments of the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS), Common Ground Station, and the Joint Tactical terminal.He was a key leader in the effort to accelerate the maturation of Joint STARS, rapidly infuse new technologies, expand mission applications, and increase joint and NATO use of the system.He has been the Branch Chief for Command and Control Warfare and Electronic Warfare on the Joint Staff and has served in key Intelligence and Aviation assignments related to the development and application of advanced technology solutions to meet remote sensor, information processing, and dissemination requirements.
