Though many New Englanders are familiar with the school, Wright said the search will help cast a wider net for prospective students.
"We're looking to expand our reputation to areas outside the Northeast," said Wright.

Wright said the school is not necessarily looking for the 25 most academically gifted students, but rather those who display leadership in any aspect of life.
"It could be someone who excels in the classroom, volunteers in the community or excels on the sports field," said Wright.

Wright said Gary Hirshberg, CEO of yogurt maker Stonyfield Farms, has also agreed to be on the board.
