   Wright was playing a party when when Centre wide receiver Nate Woodall came in from work.

   Woodall said he had seen Wright play around campus, and really liked what he had heard.
   
   "He's got a soulful, passionate voice and he puts a lot into his songs," Woodall said. "I really respect that and I thought it would be cool to see what would happen if we put our heads together."
   
   They've decided to do just that. Woodall has signed on to produce Wright's next album, and the two plan to put their musical pasts to use in making the album.

   It's hard for the two to get much time to record right now, as both are in the middle of their seasons. Woodall has caught seven passes for 49 yards in three Centre games and has also carried the ball three times for six yards.

   Woodall is also considering starting a record label, an undertaking he got to see at a monstrous level with his internship last summer.
   
   Woodall was one of 12 students selected from 34,000 applicants to participate in the MasterCard Priceless Edge summer internship program. He worked a week at the Lollapalooza Festival and then spent time in Santa Monica, Calif., working at Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records.
   
   He's currently Interscope's marketing consultant for the state of Kentucky, a job he got through his internship.
   
   "I've got my foot in the door there," Woodall said.

   CADIZ, Ky. -- Centre College wide receiver and former Trigg County High School football star Nate Woodall hasn't thought a lot about football this summer. In fact, he's had to join a California fitness center to keep in shape.
   
   A music major with a minor in English, Woodall has been in Los Angeles since July working at Interscope Records with recording artists such as Limp Bizkit and Cold, 50 Cents, "MENM" and "Black Eyed Peas" as a media consultant.
   
   "Next Monday I will in the studio with Black Eyed Peas when they perform on the Jay Leno show. I'll be there, behind the scenes. My job until the middle of August is to get guys like these to the media, TV, Radio, newspapers, and magazines," he explained.
   
   Woodall has also worked with Lollapalooza during their Chicago appearance this summer, coordinating artist signing and autographs areas.
   
   His selection as a participant in the MasterCard "Priceless Edge" 2003 Internship Program responsible for his new lot in life.
   
   The program open was to all college students nationwide ages 18-25. The program included a real-world internship for the top 12 students in each curriculum. Woodall was named as an intern from a total of 100 college students who had been selected out of 32,000 nationwide applicants -- 50 for the business of music and 50 for sports
   
   The top 12 music students chosen as interns traveled to Santa Monica, Calif., to work with the music industry and Interscope Records. The intern job focused on several disciplines, including production, business affairs, artist relations and management.
   
   In a telephone interview, Woodall explained what he has been as a music intern.
