Rebecca Wood Joins IMX® Exchange as Director of Marketing Communications -Company Announces Promotion of Senior Managers-
San Ramon, Calif., December 1, 1999 - IMX® Exchange, the leader in e-commerce for the wholesale mortgage industry, today announced that Rebecca Wood has joined the company's senior management team as Director of Marketing Communications.With more than 15 years of experience directing public relations, marketing, and advertising for local, regional and national mortgage and real estate organizations, Wood will be responsible for furthering IMX Exchange's marketing efforts as the company continues its aggressive national expansion.
"Rebecca's professionalism, industry experience and deep understanding of real estate, lender and broker business needs brings a whole new level of execution capability to our expansion efforts.This will allow us to provide powerful marketing programs and resources to our members, while we continue to grow that member base through more targeted marketing campaigns," said Richard Wilkes, President and CEO of IMX Exchange.
Wood, who most recently served as a marketing consultant to the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBAA) and to technology companies serving the mortgage industry, had previously been Director of Public Affairs for the MBAA, managing the media relations and consumer affairs division of the national trade association which represents more than 2,800 mortgage lenders.Prior to working for the MBAA, Wood spent 13 years directing multi-million dollar annual advertising and public relations campaigns for some of the largest real estate organizations in North America, including Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., Fairfax, Virginia and Realty World Corporation, Irvine, California.Wood also has worked for Builder Magazine and as managing editor of several magazines published by the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C.A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Wood has received numerous national and regional advertising awards for television and sales promotion advertising campaigns.She is a member of the Ad Club of Washington and the National Association of Real Estate Editors.

The company also announced the promotion of several senior managers.Chad Neel, previously Director of Operations, was promoted to Vice President of Operations, and now oversees all day-to-day operational areas of the Exchange, as well as member services for both lenders and brokers.Erin Esparza, previously Vice President of Marketing, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategy and Marketing, and is charged with developing and implementing the company's product, business development and marketing strategies.Jeff Pullen, previously Vice President and CFO, has been promoted to Senior Vice President.Pullen will oversee all financial, operational, engineering and administrative functions of IMX Exchange.
